A Heavenly Day in Washington// DeLILLE Cellars, WA
The next few weeks the Elysium team will be traveling to amazing destination weddings across the globe. We started our run at Darcy and Ian's beautiful Woodinville, WA wedding. They chose a gorgeous winery, DeLILLE Cellars for their outdoor ceremony and super fun reception. We shot alongside Gash Photography and had a great time! Check out Darcy and Ian' Same Day Edit!
When I refer to sweet I'm referring to Amy and Will who were such a delightful couple to shoot, and when I say chic I'm definitely talking about their awesome wedding. Not only their decor and flower design by talented Nisie, but the fashion was just amazing; Manolo Blahnik's, a gorgeous Amsale wedding gown (with a cake that matched the dress by Vanilla Bake Shop), and beautiful bridesmaid dresses by Melissa Sweet. All of this fabulousness was captured by the equally chic and sweet Jasmine Star, while Kerrie Underhill of Platinum Weddings by Kerrie did a phenomenal job planning and designing Amy and Will's dream wedding. Suki and Andy were featured on our blog last year for their SDE at the Hyatt HB which was a super special montage of their events as well as a tribute to Suki's late grandfather. Today, we are featuring their full length Arthouse Edit. This magical two-day wedding speaks for itself. NIkki Khan of Exquisite Events planned and executed an amazing event, while Nisie of Nisie's Enchanted Florist worked her magic and added so much color and special touches to the day. Love in the air, a pair of sparkly Louboutins, a fabulous one strap gown, and a tropical island with your closet family and friends... what more could a girl ask for?! Starr and Ross shared a beautiful few days with their loved ones at the luxurious Cap Juluca Resort in the British West Indies, Anguilla. The wonderful and talented Matt and Enna Grazier of Grazier Photography were there to photograph the day beautifully, you can check our Starr and Ross' amazing photos here. A Rock n Roll-Chic Vegas Wedding // Mandarin Oriental Hotel
If you are an avid Elysium blog reader then you will definitely recognize Aria and Elie as the first couple in Elysium history to have a Rock 'n Roll Same Day Edit, an awesome new concept for our future brides! Aria and Elie had a super chic event at the fabulous Mandarin Oriental Hotel where the super talented Tory L. Cooper executed an absolutely beautiful day. Brita and Ryan had an amazing destination wedding! Their fabulous event included a rehearsal dinner with heartfelt speeches, a ceremony at the ocean's edge, a cocktail hour with a PINATA, and a reception with a dance floor that was never empty (they had 3 different bands and an awesome DJ!). Not to mention mariachis, a tequila bar, a cigar roller, and fire dancers! The mexican decor was designed by Event Designer and Producer, Christopher Aldama of Fiori Fresco. Planning and event coordination was finely executed by Jeannie Savage of Details Details and we had a great time shooting alongside the talented Victor Sizemore. ROCKSTAR + LOVE = AWESOMENESS! // Beverly Hills Hotel
So I have to preface this post with an admission. I am 100% addicted to diet Diet Rockstar (the blue can). I drink one every morning and sometimes will drink another one on the way home from a late wedding. When were in NYC a few weeks back, I could not find Rockstar anywhere and I SWEAR I was going through withdrawls!! What does this have to do with this film you ask? Jason, the awesome groom, is a big-wig at the company. So I was secretly hoping they'd pay their balance in Diet Rockstar but alas, that didn't happen. HOWEVER... at a precise moment during the reception when the party was hopping, the doors to the ballroom opened and in came the waitstaff with trays of Rockstar Lemondrops!! How cool is that!?? And no... I didn't drink one (although I wanted to!)
Anyway, this wedding is one for the books. It was just teaming with coolness. I love the couple's style and how the awesome team of vendors outdid themselves at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The floral designer who incorporated the cool peacock feathers was Sunny & her team at White Lilac and the fabulous planner was Michelle from Details Details. We also had a blast working with the ultra cool Joe Latter who took some rockin photographs that you can view here. All in all, a memorable wedding for sure! Check out their full Arthouse film:
